$100.00 Grant Recipient!

The MEEMIC Foundation partnered with Quill to offer a $100 back to school grant.

The grant will be used to provide back to school supplies for Mrs. Migliore’s & Ms. Majtyka’s classroom.

Are you or someone you know seeking employment? If so, consider joining the APPS Team; currently we have openings for bus drivers, lunch paraprofessionals and are always in need of substitute workers in the areas of: food service staff, custodians, teachers, bus drivers, paraprofessionals/aides and secretarial support.

Please note that the training required for the open bus driver positions is at no cost to the employee, and the employee will be compensated for their time during the course of the training.

Dear Teachers, as you know, we have moved our evaluation system to an online platform. That platform allows us to view the same tasks, and collaborate through comments. We have asked for the following thus far:

In order to have a complete portfolio online, we are asking that all, not just non-tenure teachers, submit the self assessment in the Stages system. This will allow us to have everything under one “roof”.

For tenured staff, you may use a previous copy of your self-assessment, or choose to update with some new choices in the tab that identifies “Self-Assessment” Please be sure this is completed by your final evaluation.

For non-tenured staff. you must complete the self-assessment and it is due by October 1.

So now, the ASK is:

Dear all,

We have some very exciting news for you. Our Chromebooks can run Microsoft Office! The login for Office 365 will be on the bookmark bars for staff and students. The login and passwords are the same for Office 365 and Google. Username ” *****@appublicschools.com Password: same password as your google login.

We will be uploading instructions on our Help Desk on how to log into Office 365 soon. If you would like to use the online version of Microsoft Office (Office365) at your desk, please go to http://portal.office.com and login. It is available now and you and your students can use it at home and school/work.

NOTE** To save any document you will have to setup your one drive first. (one time setup)

1. Login to http://portal.office.com

2. Launch One drive and click to continue through the prompts

3. Open application of choice and work and save in Microsoft Office online.

4. Any documents saved will be saved automatically in your one drive just like Google.

What a great night to be a Lindemann Lion!

As the building principal, I walked the halls with a big smile on my face. I could not be any prouder of our staff here at Lindemann. The building looks fantastic and the halls were filled with energy. Each classroom was moving and grooving orchestrated by our Rock Star Teachers! The PTA table was filled and our membership numbers were climbing. Thank you for all you do each and every day! This is going to an exciting and rewarding school year!
